Organisation
The diocese is currently divided into four Arch-Deaconries with a total of 24 Parishes and 214 ‘Chapelles’ (small congregations) and more than 30,000 registered Christians.
The Departments
Aru Diocese has a number of different departments involved in pastoral work, primary and secondary school education, medical work and community development.
The Future
We are preparing to open 8 new parishes as we create a growing community of believers working for the Lord (an increase of 20% in the numbers of believers in 5 years).
